    Carl's Premium vs Dual Layer?

Tried to search for this but couldn't find many much commentary - has anyone tried both the Carl's Premium and the Dual Layer screen?

I am concerned mostly about bounce back and image quality - wondering if saving a couple hundred bucks on the dual layer might be worth it.

I'd be very interested to see this comparison myself if anybody has any experience with it. The description on the website implies that the picture quality should be very similar to the premium screen but it might not be as quiet. I like the idea that when it wears out I wouldn't have to order anything custom if I'm getting the standard 16'x9' size, I would just need the replacement top layer. My plan is to have hook velcro sewn over the grommet section around the sides and top so I can attach my trim. If I went with the premium screen I would always need to order it custom with that extra velcro. This way should be much cheaper in the long run.

Still can't find much commentary about the differences anywhere - also the dual layer appears to be out of stock at the moment. I might just go for the preferred to save a little cash and see if the picture is "good enough", since I already have a dedicated home theater setup.

I have the premium because I wanted the picture to look decent and the impact to be insulated as much as possible. I don't think the image quality on the dual is that bad. I think being able to just change out the one layer is a pretty good benefit.
