Quick question for anyone that has used a Carls screen with finished edges. I'm installing a screen from wall to wall directly into the studs. Will use hooks or eye screws as anchor points in the stud. Carls recommends you add 2" for each side (4" total to the width). Per this recommendation I should have enough room (stud to stud distance is ~148") and the specs say finished outside width is 142". If i factor in eye screws I'll have 2.5" on each side. Will this leave me enough room to get proper tension on the screen? Just trying to make sure this will work. Height is no concern since ceilings are 12'. Please let me know. Thanks

Carls Preferred with finished edges -size question

I have the Carl’s premium with grommets. Mine has essentially no gap from EMT frame and using bungee balls to attach. I like the grommets and since they aren’t on edge provides the tension. You will likely want to cover gap between screen and wall/side. That + maximize screen size is why I kept mine small.
