  • Par2Pro Ceiling Protection and Baffle Installation

Does anyone have any install instructions for the par2pro ceiling protection and baffle? It seems like I could figure it out but hoping someone has some lessons learned or instructions.

I am not sure if it was the same type of ceiling protection, but there was someone who made a YouTube video of their second floor sim room build. Let see if I can find that later and post a link. I remember him mentioning the Par2Pro ceiling protection is his video when he was putting it up.

That would be great. I tried a YouTube search but there's a lot out there.

So I tried to search and could not find the video again. Sorry about that. What I recall was the guy saying he had issues as well and could not figure it out and had to call Par2Pro. If I recall he was sent some Velcro tape or something fluke that which held his ceiling protection in place. I did not mention the solution as I thought it best for you to watch the video as his ceiling protection might differ. In any event, I guess giving Cory or one of his guys a call might be needed.

if I do come across the video, I will be sure to post it.

Thanks. I tried hanging it tonight and I'm not sure how close it's supposed to be to the screen. I'll give Par2Pro a call tomorrow.

We may have the same product. I purchased three of their sportscreens and overhead ceiling protection with a baffle. The baffle is extra fabric that hangs down and loops back to the leading edge of the tube frame assembly.

I still had to put my old net between the roller and baffle. The ball will run directly up the screen. The baffle slows the rebound off the top of the screen, where the impact screen fabric is tight. The old net was loosely rolled and folded. The net softens and slows or collects balls that go up the gap.

As far as assembly, it was a frame, some precisely cut fabric with stitched velcro, and velcro strips. After applying the velcro strips to the frame, the heavy black fabric was attached.

You are on your own for attaching the thing to the ceiling. I chose eye-screws and they were placed in the ceiling joists. I then drilled holes through the fabric and frame (aligned with the ceiling joists screws) and inserted some eye bolts washers and nuts. A chain link holds them together.
