Homecourse Retractable Screen Enclosure

Hi,

I'm thinking about getting the Homecourse retractable screen for my setup. I was planning on pairing that with the Optoma 1080HDR projector. From the projection calculator it doesn't appear that I will be able to fill the entire screen with the 4:3 or 16:9 resolution that it provides. It will leave quite a bit of space on the bottom from what I'm seeing. Does anyone else have any experience with this screen and getting the picture to fill it in high definition? The screen is 7.5ft tall x 7ft wide.

I own it. It took a complete frame out and layers to have a nice set up and the optoma will not fit the screen. It is a waste, do not buy it. False advertising abounded

Are you saying don't buy the projector or don't by the retractable screen? What do you mean "it took a complete frame out and layers to have a nice setup"?

The screen, it is a waste. All your numbers about filling the screen are accurate and the screen itself is beyond terrible. I had to put 2x4’s around it plus innumerable other measures to make it acceptable. I have the optoma and it is fine
