  • Barn find: Protee full setup

    Hi all,

I bought two full protee set-ups yesterday for €750, literally a truck full of stuff so a bargain to me. It's a vintage one: seems to be 15 years old already. I don't think I'm going to use the technological parts because I ordered a Mevo+ a few weeks ago (not arrived yet) and I don't think the projectors en pc's will still do the job.

The enclosure is really big and a heavy duty one, and there are 4 type of screens with it. Can you guys help me out to get everything in the right place?

    It consists of:

    1) clinical white screen (probably the top layer)

    4) Much smaller off white mesh screen (really don't know where to put this)

Can you guys confirm to me that I have to put the first one on top, the black one in the middle and the third one on the back? Does anyone knows what to do with number four?

    Many thanks!

Pretty sure #4 is to put behind where you expect to hit the most - an extra 'backer' of sorts. My first set-up had a similar square piece with instructions to put behind the estimated hitting area of your driver - simply for extra padding. I could be wrong! And, I believe the order you list is correct for 1st, 2nd & 3rd layers.

Hi Carl, thanks for you reply. Is there someone in here who can confirm this? And do I need to put this extra layer in the back (on the 4th position)?
