  • Looking for enclosure and screen advise

    Hi
I have just completed the build of my garden sim room and was looking for some advice on enclosures and screens
I have been looking at Golfbays easysim pro premium enclosure
Any advice on the above would be appreciated

I was going to suggest just building your own enclosure using the EMT pipes sold at Home Depot and Lowes. (But your use of the word "garden" made me assume you were U.K.).

I have no idea what the hardware store scene is like across the pond and how readily accessible stuff like that is. But if you can get your hands on the metal poles and connector pieces it's very easy and will save you a ton of money. The same enclosure that you can buy from a company for several hundred dollars will cost you about $200 (U.S.) and is very easy to assemble. I always recommend this route. Then just choose your screen and hang with tarp clips and ball bungees. I think enclosures is where the biggest savings opportunity comes and probably the area where a lot of people spend way more than is necessary.

I am in process of ordering everything and went with the Carl’s DIY enclosure (they send most of the stuff including screen, but you have to buy the EMT pipes locally). It’s a very reasonable price doing it that way.
