What is the best way to mount a screen as close to the ceiling as possible? I plan on using EMT or simple angle iron to a wood ceiling. The way that has been proposed to me is to give up 8-9" of space between the frame to the edge of the screen. I have cathedral ceiling so I have 10' down the center in the hitting area to swing, but only 93" of screen height possible to keep a 16:9 ratio. 8" of screen height is quite significant and any of that I can keep I would like to do so.
84" screen height just seems very low especially when I really wanted to be hitting from around the 10' mark into the screen.
I would love to see some screen attachment examples.
