  • Enclosure connectors in Canada - source?

    Hi,
I'd like to build my own enclsoure using the 1" pipe recommended from Home Depot. Screen will be 12X9. Anyone have an idea of a good source I'd need for the connectors - i.e. the elbows and center joints to connect the pipe from a Canadian source?

Also, any thoughts on material to cover it - some kind of thick black fabric, ideally with bungees attached, but I'm looking for a source for this as well.

    thanks for any help!

You can by the fittings off Amazon.ca looking at $180 they sell the a kit with all the fittings. Then you will need to buy tube clamps 1.26 diameter off Amazon.com another $100 you will need about 50 of them. Then you can buy fabric from our sight pvc vinyl fabric bullseyegolfsims.com

I primarily used vendor Golden valley tools & tarps on Amazon. They have a nice variety of the items in different packages and ship promptly. Not sure if they ship to Canada.

I know that building a structure with EMT is quite popular, but I used lumber. Easy to tailor to custom sizes, easy to install, easy to change your mind (use screws!), easy to add foam, carpet tiles, really anything to, and super sturdy. Might be worth a thought if you aren't married to the EMT.

Thanks for the suggestions. I hadn't thought about using simple lumber, but that is definitely more configurable...although with lumber prices lately

Check out makerpipe. They are US-based but their website says they ship internationally. I used them and am very happy with the product. Lots of options, very easy to use and very sturdy.
