    Sportscreen plus impact screen

Starting my first garage simulator build. I’m thinking of getting the 16 foot sportscreen and then add an impact screen on front of it, choosing between Par2pro Sq or gunghogolf birdie impact screen. Question is, if my sportscreen is 16ft wide and my impact screen is only 10 feet wide (velcroed to sportscreen) will that cause a problem ?

You can add an extra row of velcro onto the sportscreen roller and attach the impact screen directly to the roller. It's good to have some extra height in your impact screen so you can roll it up at least once into the roller for a great hold. You would still keep the sportscreen attached to the roller as well to provide some rigidity behind the impact screen.

If your impact screen is only 10 feet wide, why not just get the sportscreen that's 10 feet wide? What's the point of having that extra 6 feet if it's not being used?

I did the setup you're describing, in a garage as well, at https://golfsimulatorforum.com/forum...omplete-w-pics. I just used the 10ft sportscreen though.

Thanks. Yea I was obviously not thinking about it correctly. I haven’t ordered the impact screen yet. I can’t hang my side curtains at 10 feet due to sprinkler heads and lights on m6 garage ceiling, hence the 16 foot sportscreen. I’ll just look into getting a bigger impact screen.

we can do a 16 x 9 screen for the sports screen. velcro on top, sleeve on bottom and hemmed on sides. in poly blend or poly spacer.
