I’m looking into purchasing the net return mini so I can hit balls in my living room, I have limited space so this size is perfect but I’m worried about missing the net. I’m a pretty good golfer, single digit handicap but as I’m working on my swing I expect to hit some horrible shots. Does anyone have any experience hitting real balls into this net without side barriers? Did you ever miss the net?
Net Return Mini too small for real golf balls?

the mini is only 7 x 7. if you are too far away, you can put a wedge over it easily. the closer you are ( 6-7 feet ), the less chance of missing it. might want to think about using ALMOST balls. How much space do you have? see link. We can cusom make this to fit your space exactly. with top. sides or angled nets.

golfsimulatorsite the mini is 5 wide and 6 high. Not interested in using almost balls because I want accurate numbers. Will be using a gcquad. Seems like a lot of money to spend to hit golf balls that don’t give me accurate distance. Couldn’t I just pull the net closer for wedges?

you have plenty of space. You could do a 120 x 108 setup with 3-5 ft sides/top. if you are going to spend all that money on a GCQUAD, you should have a setup you feel comfortable hitting in to. Plus im sure you will have friends over who might not be single digit golfers. If you did a 3 ft top, you could hit 7-8 ft away and that should catch most high shots. do you have any windows/doors to work around? send me pics and rough dimensions. I will get you a layout and some enclosure options. see link below
