Concrete Bounce Back fix

Hey Everyone! First post so apologize if I miss anything.

I just built a simulator in my garage, loving it so far, but my biggest issue currently is some real dangerous bounce backs off the concrete floor behind the screen. There is a 6 inch piece that comes up, I covered it with some egg shell mattress topper but I learned yesterday that doesn't do the trick. The bottom of my screen rides up sometimes leaving a small area uncovered, which if a bad shot (low line drive) hits, the ball comes back at very dangerous speeds (put a dent in my new garage door...don't tell my wife)

I was curious what type of material would be best to slow down the golf ball if this occurs? Or any suggestions on getting the screen to not ride up? I don't really want to tie it down because I've heard you just let it hang loose, but maybe I am wrong.

A quick fix would be to hang something heavy but with some give so the ball transfers most of its kinetic energy to it without bouncing.

Moving blankets might do the trick.

Alternatively, hockey mask and a cup.

Build a ramp out of wood and cover it with foam - look up here as there are good pics of some foam ramps. Or use foam 'pool noodles' down at bottom of screen.

Mask and cup good but could still lose a ball thru the 5 hole.
I don't have same problem, yet. First setup.
Starting ez with mat and net in garage w/ 10' ceiling.
gonna buy a net (justfornets.com?) Gonna run it like a shower curtain in a u-shape. I have option for hanging 20" in front of sheetrock wall or bring it further out by 24" to miss attic ladder to overhead storage space.
If a decent net hangs 20" from a wall, will a well struck driver push net/ball into wall? Foam on wall? I like the moving blanket hanging just behind net. Or a tarp. I'm just unsure of the distance a net will move. I'm 65 so of course I have amazing clubhead speed.
Eventually will have screen and will have same concerns. Probly do same curtain slide routine with bulk screen from a vendor I saw on this site. Gung-ho maybe, can't remember.
