Is there any sort of consensus on best screen attachment methods ie grommets and bungee vs tarp clips? I had originally been planning to do a screen with grommets but am reconsidering after coming across the direct from mill raw screens. Do the clips ever break? You still use bungees with the clips also correct? also I would not have access to the rear of the screen to do any sort of wrap around bungees like I’ve seen in some of the premium enclosure videos. Would this be an issue with raw screens? I plan to mount unistrut channels to the walls and ceiling for attachment (no enclosure) Thx

Grommets vs clips

I have grommets on the top and sides but use clips at the base and to add additional points on the sides. I actually was expecting the clips (off of amazon) would come loose over time or break but they have been in place for over 2 years now without issue. I think either work just fine and if buying unfinished screen I do not see any reason to pay to add grommets - just use the clips. For both cases you still need bungees.

I think it's a bit easier to adjust the tension on the screen using clips. If you order an extra foot of screen, you can fold over the excess and increase or decrease the tension as necessary. Unistrut is pretty expensive. Unless you have a cheap source, most use angle iron instead.
I framed out my setup with 2x4 so instead of unistrut or angle iron, I used eye-screws and then looped the bungee through them and the tarp clips. Using eye-screws was the cheapest way to do it and I'm not worried about the sharp angle iron cutting the bungee cord over time.
