Hi guys . 2 questions. 1)Would you do it all over again? ( meaning build a sim) and 2) if your space was 9'4" high 16 ' wide and 25'deep would you go for it and build one? thanks The 9'4" height is killing me so I'm hesitant.
Would you?

Take some slow practice swings and explore the space. I'm 6'1" and swing driver within a 9'4" ceiling. I've never hit ceiling with a club. I'd love to have that width and depth to dedicate.

Yeah best thing you can do is swing the club in your space. My space was 9’ and I believe is 8’ 9” finished and I can swing driver. The one I use in the sim is a newer Taylor made m4 with a long shaft and I have hit the ceiling three times all when over swinging and drinking. No harm no foul in each case and that is over the course of about 8 months. Even if I couldn’t swing driver I would have done it. Playing whenever I have time is awesome, I am still horrible but that doesn’t really bother me, the fun I have outweighs everything.

I'm at 8'10"-ish as well. I am 5'10" and can swing my driver and only hit the ceiling when twisting out and over-swinging. Like what jasonreg said, we tee off from the amateur tees in EG v1.6 with 3 woods.
Still a blast and it's great to have the incredible swing data to work to improve my swing.

Most definitely.
One thing to add. While I can swing driver in mine I play alone 95% of the time with only my irons. Usually like playing up to 6600 yard tee boxes too. With TGC you can set some boost on your clubs. We use 10% for woods and 0% for irons and wedges. We also live at 6200 feet so we like to see a little bigger drives. I can get my Wood boost on my 20* 4 iron out 250+ so I really do not even worry with the driver unless I am going for a green really. While I trust my setup, it’s just so much force when I swing the big sticks. It fun with friends but if I am playing alone almost play irons only anyways.

racingsims Would you tell someone to pass on sim racing because they could only get a G29 setup at a desk? Didn’t think so. So yes and yes. Will you wish you had more height? Yes. Will that stop you from enjoying the heck out of your range? Nope.
