We are in the final stages of a new construction build and at the point of building out my simulator room. The room is 16.5' wide x 19' deep, ceiling is about 11.5' high. Here is what I have figured out so far, but I'm stuck with the carpenter asking questions about where to build the framework for the screen, and how to attach it, etc.
1. Uneekor EyeXO simulator
2. E6 Multisport simulator
3. Benq 4k projector
4. Countryclub elite hitting mat + putting green and cup between mat and screen
5. Motorized movie screen, location TBD pending golf sim screen. Figured about 1' in front of golf sim screen.
6. Golf Sim screen and framework
Now, I'd like the sim screen to be probably 14.5x8.5 to accommodate the 16:9 aspect ratio. That leaves me some room on either side for framing. I figured I would just get some golf sim curtains on either side for when we are playing golf, then I can tuck them back when we are gaming or watching a movie. The distance from ceiling (11.5') to top of screen (8.5') is one area I'm unsure of what to do with.
Is this something I should find an AV company to do for me? Are there any consultants near Chicago that can come in to drive this design home?
Any help is much appreciated!
