Hi all. I'm new to this so I appreciate the community.
I'm putting a sim in my garage, but it will be blocking a window so I'd like the screen to be able to open/close like a curtain. (Actually, the wife demands that.) Has anyone had any experience doing this? What I'm thinking is grommets hanging from a heavy duty room divider track in the ceiling (and also hanging an impact net along with it). But then does it need to be attached to the floor as well? What about the walls? And if it's free hanging, how far from the wall behind should it be mounted?
If I do this, it seems like there are a couple options for the screen itself: the 501 from onestopsimshop, the eagle from gungho, or the preferred from carl's place. Any advice there as well?
And secondary question, has anyone used foam as a ceiling protector? Something like soundproofing foam? Or is a net preferable?
Thanks!
Casey
