My dad and I are building a simulator. We have most of it done thanks to a lot of help from this forum and other online resources. I fired up the projector and hit shots into the net for the first time last night. I hit about 6 shots before I shanked one and it ended up slipping through the crack where the screen meets the curtain. We have our curtain hung on the inside of our enclosure, as you can see in the picture, as opposed to how most people drape curtains over the top of their enclosures. We have the curtains tensioned against the screen with the cables wrapped in pipe foam, but it seems we can not get them tight enough to stop a ball. My first thought is to try using the gutter foam others have used to cover pipes along the bottom of their enclosures. Do any other thoughts jump out at any of you guys? Any input is welcome.
