It appears Spornia has raised the price from $240 to $290. But more importantly, I am wondering how on earth this net has so many fans out there. I have attached a picture from Spornia's website wherein Spornia claims the height is 9 feet. However, I've seen reviews where people are claiming it is actually only 7.5' tall. Spornia's description claims 8.5'. Something is amiss here. I found an Amazon review where someone says they contacted Spornia about this and Spornia's claim was that they are advertising the height as a proxy due to the angle of the roof. In other words, if the roof were not angled and standing straight up, it would be 8.5'. But because it is angled, it is actually less than 8' tall. This seems completely misleading. Has anyone out there measured their SPG-7? Thoughts?

We have one. It is a good value at the price point I would say. Didn't measure it, and have no issues hitting PW into it. Don't really practice higher lofted clubs than that into the net with a full swing. -
My SPG-7 just arrived an hour ago and I have taken a few full swings with my gap wedge. I'm still waiting on my mat and LM so the true testing won't be till later.
The next time I set it up I can take measurements for you.Comment
