Hi Guys, I have a Carl's Premium impact screen with a 7 foot depth bay/tent. I am moving to a new home with limited room and therefore have to reduce the depth of the bay/tent from 7 feet to 4 feet.
Before I spend $400 US on getting this new section/tent. I wanted to ask if anyone has just simply adjusted their tent as well and perhaps taken it to a seamstress to have it adjusted at a much cheaper price?
I am not sure if cutting the material and then re-sewing would negatively affect the performance of the tent (ripping, tension, etc) Would be interested to hearing all alternative options, tips etc.
Another option I would have is folding the tent/bay over to the new shortened depth (and instead of cutting and re-sewing) just cutting the excessive part and then having the velcro -re stitched to the match the depth of the new section.
I have attached image for reference.
Let me know.
