I've been experimenting with different materials behind my impact screen for a while now and have yet to find the perfect solution. It may be obvious, but I've found that a non-transparent dark material is best to absorb light behind the screen to really make the image quality pop.
My first attempt was a simple black bedsheet and while it helped, it wasn't enough to really make a big difference
My second attempt was black landscaping material that I duct taped together to double up and hung right behind my screen. It worked great for a while but inevitably it started to shred and most of it now lays behind my screen on the floor.
I have been thinking about a black backdrop screen (https://www.amazon.com/Hemmotop-Back...3&sr=1-11&th=1), have seen others mention moving blankets, or was contemplating finding a thicker canvas.
Just looking for a more permanent solution so I can quit messing with it. Any advice or links to specific products would be greatly appreciated.
