Me-tech Side roller programming questions

Question for those with a Me-tech retractable roller set up.

Have installed the main screen and programmed and just finishing up the side curtains and have a few questions.

1. Do you run the side rollers on the same channel as the main screen?
2. If running on the same channel, is there any issues with the roll speed? I assume the they will the main and sides will need to have different travel because of the thickness
3. Assuming you need to program each side separately, any issues programing the two sides on the same channel one at a time?
4. Any other tips or nuances you can remember?

Programming the main roller was a pain for me so just looking for tips before I do the sides.

1) yes
2) yes the side rollers are much slower due to the motor. Program each one individually by unplugging and plugging back in. This gets them all in the position that you want.
3) no issues just plug and unplug as you go
4) I leave the main screen about 1/2 inch off the ground. I made a pocket in the screen and put a pipe in it with a bungy rope inside and attached to some hooks to allow the screen to absorb better and return to position. I also installed steel pipe to the side walls and used tarp clips to attach to the sides which keeps the image more flat/crisp. They fall off a lot but it is better than any alternative I could find. My side screens are cheep and move around a lot so I just upgraded to chicago canvas commando cloth and plan to try different pockets/chains/pipe ect to get things the way I want it. Still haven't figured out how to close the corners - especially the right - to keep balls from escaping on shanks.

I don't know how to post pictures well so sorry about that. I feel like I constantly tinker with my set up and may do a thread when I feel finished.

When you say plug and unplug, do you mean have everything unplugged, plug one side in and program then unplug and repeat the process on the other side?

I also have pockets in side curtains and main screen and also went cheap cloth. I may upgrade in the future.

Any issues having the main screen off ground? I have mine going to the floor right now because I was worried about worm burners not being caught.

Yeah it is tedious but I unplug everything but the roller I am programming at the time.
I only have it 1/2 inch or so off the ground so nothing gets through, you don't want to chase putts ect. I should put pipe foam/warmers on the bottom but I hit it so rarely that low and would have to reprogram the screen again, which again is a pain
