Game Room ----> Golf Simulator (DIY)

About finished with my game room transformation to a golf simulator.

I just have a few finishing touches and somehow need to figure out how to tighten the screen and would like to have synchronized front/back slow motion video but have not figured out how to do it cheaply yet. Let me know if you have ideas. Just put up some netting because I put a few holes in the ceiling with my SW.

dbwargo Excellent job, it looks really nice. What's on the walls? Some type of cushion or something, did you make them yourself? I see you've made some contact with the slanted ceiling, it's funny how golfers always seem to have those on their ceilings somewhere.

Very nice. I did 3'x4' panels made out of 1/2 plywood, covered with 12lb carpet underlay, wrapped in a heavy black fabric ( meant for curtains) So far the odd golf ball has not damaged anything.

Thanks all. The walls are made from 24"x24" 5mm plywood squares with 2" polyurethane foam on them, all wrapped in vinyl fabric just like you would do a seat cushion....but a lot of them. I've made direct contact with the ones above the screen with some irons and it deadens the ball nicely. The room is just a bit too small but I tried to make it work. I tried to make as much room for lefties as I could because I have some friends that are lefties but it makes it really tight. The good thing is that the center matt that holds the optishot sensors does not take up the entire width so I can always remove the strips on the end and slide the hitting matt in either direction.
