Retractable screen, with edge grommets. Is this ok?

Does anyone have experience with using an impact screen that has grommets around the edges (in this case a Carl's Place screen with classic finish) in a retractable/roll-up system (like Sportscreen or METech)?

Wondering if there is a risk of...
a) damaging the screen itself with the grommets being rolled up (though, on the sides at least, the grommets would seemingly only touch each other when rolled up)
b) affecting the roll-up mechanism (uneven diameter maybe?) to the point where it doesn't work

Or if none of that matters.

Any thoughts/advice/experience appreciated!

I roll up mine which has Velcro on the edges. I don't think the grommets would cause an issue. There shouldn't be any rubbing or anything like that. And even though the roll may get slightly askewed if rolling by hand (like me) it shouldn't be enough to cause any issues.
