Need some help with setting up a 16*10 screen please.

Hi Guys,

New sim build here. Plan is as below. Have a 16*10 screen. It will be attached to an angle iron on the left wall with bungees and tarp clips. For the support on the right side planning a plywood fixed to the wall.

For a 16' screen what distance should I leave between the two? This is a screen with unfinished edges and no grommets.

I was told on Discord that 4" each side should be fine, but the tarp clips themselves have some length, so was thinking of 5-5.5".

The red will be the screen. Suggestions?

You are on the right path. 3-4" is the absolute min (well someone will chime in and say they used 2" but you know). Ideally 5-6" seems to give the best results and flexibility but you need to work with what you have. Your plan of 5' +/- will be great.

Thanks SO much. Was really waiting to hear from someone. Have posted this all over. So, for my 16' screen will leave 16'11" and then adjust a bit with the bungees.
