Shed dimensions 10ft wide x 16ft long x 9ft 5in at peak lowering to 7ft 6in in the side walls.
I am looking for something fairly accurate with sim play capability. I should be able to remove either remove the joists or change the design to a hammer beam design.
Given the width of my room I will be hitting to the right of centre into the screen so the tracking capabilities will need to be done at the strike area. I have been recommended Skytrak as the one to go for. Being told that Skytrak is similar to the more expensive GC2 system and skytrak will be the easiest to install. Also given that the shed is only 16ft long the GC2 might struggle with getting accurate readings. Skytrak was only released in the UK, a couple of weeks ago. I understand that an E6 Simulation software is soon to be released for it.
I looked at Optishot although good for its price is a big drop in accuracy compared to skytrak.
Protee is a good system although it need some fine tuning in the space I have available and with a deep sensorpad will mean I'll need to raise the floor or have some type of platform so that my feet are level with the ball. The system is more expensive than skytrak plus I don't need to worry about raising the floor etc so will keep costs down. Also skytrak I could just unplug and take down the driving range so offers a bit more flexibility.
I have suggested to go with a projection nets as they are much cheaper than a ballistic screen and aren't far away in terms of picture quality produced. I also have the choice of going for a frames or have netting with black backing material with eyelets that can be hanged which will keep the costs very low.
As far as a PC or projector goes and can purchase this through work, if any one has any recommendations.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Finding suppliers in the UK is very limited
