Has anyone built a simulator in a room with vaulted ceilings. I am going to try as it is my only option but it could get complicated. I'm looking to build an enclosed cage that follows the pitch of my roof from 8.5 feet to 10 feet. My screen will be 8 feet tall by 12 feet wide. The cage with the screen side will be a little over 8 feet tall. It will be 13 feet wide and 8 feet deep. Where I hit from the cage will be 10 feet high. I'm going to either find elbow joints that come at an angle or bend the conduit to shape my ceiling slope. Any suggestions? Anyone done anything similar?

I suggest building the screen square and putting netting above the square image. At a hight of 8 feet some shots will end up above the screen so I'd put netting that'll stop the ball from bouncing back. If you are walled all the way around, just anchor to the walls instead of buying a cage. It'll work great. My Courses:

A lot of people attached brackets to wall and netting a stuff to make it look good to that. I used this cheap angle iron covered in black trim. If you put netting above your screen the netting will prevent bounce back and protect your house. My Courses:

I've been working on my sim build , i have just built a new garage with vaulted ceilings.
I attached the screen to the stud work with bungee cord with small pad eyes , used 8mm wire rope and turn buckles for tensioning the top of the screen.
i placed a 1.2m wide black fabric netting above the screen to catch any balls that go to high , balls don't seem to bounce back if it at the net, my screen is 9 ft high the netting works well although i hardly hit it unless i really try open the club up with a wedge.
i am still only 60% finished but very pleased with it so far.3 Photos

wbond I went with the optoma GT1080 short throw , it's my first projector purchase , pleased with the quality of movies. I purchased the impact screen 16' X 9' from here in the UK it has a texture of mesh and was a good price, will see how it holds up , I was planning on going with the HQ screen from par2pro

Looks nice.
Is it safe to assume that the floor will be level with those 2x4's at the bottom of the net? That's a hazard if exposed to flying low shots.
What are you going to use for technology? My Courses:
