Question: What would make more sense, have a 4:3 setup where the screen would touch the ground OR 16:9 setup where the screen would be about a foot above the ground?
I am ordering the screen by the end of the week, but I need to figure out what size to get.
I ran a cable from one end of the garage to the other and hung West Coast Netting from top to bottom and created a 4 ft "net ceiling" to catch any flops that get too floppy. I just ordered a memory curtain from Rose Brand to dampen the sound (NRC 1.05) and add additional support to the screen.
Room Dimensions: 19 x 19 x 9.5 ft
However I have a putting green that runs parallel to the hitting area. The dimensions would infringe on a 16:9 screen unless the screen was 1 foot off the ground.
What would make more sense, have a 4:3 setup where the screen would touch the ground OR 16:9 setup where the screen would be about a foot above the ground? I thought the 16:9 sounded like the play but I have yet to play on a sim that has putting. (My only experiences in a full setup was trackman with e6 and GC2 where putting was not done via the GC2) The net and the curtain both go fully to the ground to stop stray putts.
Thanks guys!
