Sun blocking cover for window wells

My simulator is in my basement and the screen is against a wall with two windows. Before the screen went up we put two black garbage bags taped on the windows to block out the sun however one has started falling off and the other has faded significantly (probably from the sun hitting it). Since this is a basement there are window wells covering the area above where the windows are. Has anybody found any good window well covers for blocking out the sun? The light definitely leaks through when I play during the daytime.

    Thanks.

I'm hoping to do something from the outside. There is very limited space between my screen and wall and I'd prefer not to have to take down the screen. Ideally I could put something over my window wells to just block out the light. I should have thought of it before the screen went up and it would have been easy to do a permanent solution.

Painted plywood. Match the color of the house or trim. It will overlap the glass and no light leaks. easy to remove also.

You mean painted plywood over the window well or over the window from the outside? Guessing you mean the window since you say it will overlap the glass. Wondering if I just put some plywood laying across the window well itself.
