Looking for some recommendations on good cost effective foam to help deaden the impact of high loft shots into the ceiling. I'm hitting about 9 ft away with 9ft ceilings, so high loft clubs won't be making it to the screen. I created a sloped ceiling to reflect shots into the screen, but still looking to deaden the impact some and protect that ceiling. Any ideas out there?

I done my hole sim area with those black exercise foam puzzle locking mats. Works great. Got them on eBay . You will go broke if you buy them from Lowes or home depo. Hope this helps . -
I've used the gym rubber as well... Pretty astonishing to see the burn marks and smell produced when a high spinning ball hits the rubber. I'll be using carpet on plywoodComment

I just got done with a very expensive and wasteful experiment with large pieces of foam. Long story short the foam was too dense and made the ball bounce back and not deaden.
I have used foam factory online and there products are quality I just should have ordered samples before ordering huge pieces. If you are patient order some samples, throw some golf balls at them and see how they work.
I ended up keeping one panel of the foam for the left barrier as I rarely hit it that far left for it to matter.
Funny enough though I was walking Home Depot for ideas awhile ago and found simple home wall insulation (pink) to be the most effective and it deadens the ball. I just covered it in some dense black fabric and it looks decent and works.
Also I agree that those exercise mat tiles do work, but can be a little hard.Comment
