Are you saying that a shot that carries 200'only reads 50 yards carry for you with an almost ball? I have some, hate them but I was only losing 10% when I tested them. I just hate the hit. A 200 carry read 180ish on my GC2

I've never actually tried one, so can't comment. I'm only going on what I've heard from others. If I could get 90% of the shot, then I'd probably get some for late night practice to save some noise!

Personally I'd rather pay the shipping / import charges, and take my time and do it right. Having done the process twice, I wish I'd taken my time and done it right the first time!

I'm hitting Bridgestone E6 balls at it. I thought it was 'sponsorship' logos that you were supposed to avoid on the balls - not the ones the manufacturer put on.
Once the ball starts getting a little bit scuffed, I put it to the side and use it for my practice / winter rounds on the course. I don't want a slightly ragged ball tearing the screen.

For me Almostballs are useless, as the GC2 knows they're only flying 1/4 of the distance they're meant to!

If you end up with blank screen, you can always get some trim to cover it like I did. It looks much better with the black border above the picture than empty white screen!
Hi p3eps. I live in Thailand. Not originally from here but moved many years ago. I'll be in southern California during the week. I owe you a beer mate!

I'm looking at the almost balls white colour and from what i've read I thought the logos are the issue with marking the screen. Distance (I'm using an optishot 2 at the moment, just bought it) is barely noticable and when I do move to the ProTee or ST it's 90%. I could be totally off, just what I read.

I think i'm going to go with the HQ material, Net behind (which I have from my last trip) and maybe a front screen for practice and only bring out the good stuff (like my whiskies) when the boys are over.
