  • Finished Sim Project and Enclosure

I received a lot of help from forum members to get this project completed. Took me awhile to finish, but I figured I would do what I can to contribute back. Below are some links to pictures as I was building everything out. Happy to help out and answer any questions for people about to embark on the same journey. It's well worth the hard work!

Looks awesome! I just bought a GC2 and am looking to build something in my garage. Does the blackout drapes stop stray shots ok? I am tempted to use drapes on the side and top with an impact screen doing the heavy lifting vs netting and blackout cloth.

They do. I bought these guys off Amazon: "Black Antique Brass Grommet Top Thermal Insulated Blackout Curtain 108 Inch Length Pair". They were recommended from another forum member and they work great. I doubled them up just in case, but not sure if I even needed to.

Great job on building your space! I am in the early "planning stage" on mine. How are the curtains hung on the ceiling and sides? I'm considering mounting my screen from the ceiling and using drapes like yours to surround the screen. thanks for your reply and hope you enjoy your room!
