  • Protecting my ceiling

    Hi all,

Thanks for reading. I have recently built a simulator in my basement but there is a gap between the top of the screen and the ceiling. I was wondering if anyone had a good solution for protecting the ceiling when a net is not an option.

Also (and this may be a question for another thread), I have a problem with the tees flying out of my CCE mat in the other room. I remember seeing months ago a tee system which tied / hooked into the mat to keep the tees from flying away but i forget the name. Does anyone know what I am talking about or have another way to fix this problem?

    Thanks for your time,

    Mike

Do you have a pic of your setup, may be easier to make recommendations for protection.

Use a claw tee system with the tomahawk tee's. Never chase another tee again.

This looks really good but i'm not exactly sure what is going on. Is it a net covering your ceiling and is there something in between the net and ceiling? It looks like you cut out a place for your light and it looks protected. How exactly did you do that?

There is a net covering the ceiling from the impact screen to golfer. However, the several feet of ceiling adjacent to impact screen was vulnerable when I use high lofted clubs. In those several feet, there is minimal space between the ceiling and net. The above picture shows foam attached to ceiling and the the lights are protected with the cages protectors.

Thanks! Sorry for the huge delay but this looks really good. Where did you get the foam?
