Best balls for Par2Pro screen?

I got 150.00 in balls sitting on the ground and also go through them and wipe them down every 3 or 4 days and if they get any imperfection they are thrown into my golf bag to one day go outside and see the real world, I have the supertex which I have calculated that I have over 12000 shots into and have seen no wear at all the screen looks brand new in every way but I have also 2 spares in my closet as the price was budget friendly and I had expected to pay the 600 anyway and did not have high expectations until now on the durability but these threads on the forum lately have put me in the thought that I went the right direction and am kind of happy that I stayed away from the higher $$ impact screens and I use soft golf balls for my play

Yeah, I have a net behind the screen - super tight stretched over about 14ft x 10ft. Balls do not bounce back at all - pretty much drop right down and roll to your feet. I used to attach the screen at the sides with ball bungees too, but after the first blow through I've just allowed the weight of the screen to take the wrinkles out. It's "ok" - but not brilliant. I've got a new screen to hang once I blow though this one for the final time, and I'm going to tension this one up again so it looks better. I'm going to hang it over the top of the existing one, so I'll have net, then ProTee screen, then the new one on top.

It's archery netting, so i've gone into it expecting the picture to be rubbish. it was about 1/4 the price though, so thought it was worth looking into at least...

If the picture is even half decent and the screen has a bit more longevity, then I'll be happy.

I was told my net was too tight, and that's why the balls were bouncing back. The advice was to try loosening off the zip ties that are holding it in place. If that doesn't work, try a memory foam mattress topper inside a duvet cover.
My net wasn't that tight in the first place. The theory made sense - The tighter the net, the faster they come back.
I should've tried tightening mine more before buying the memory foam.

I think I previously had that exact screen from golf tech systems. I was never happy with the picture quality, or the way it stretched / sagged each time a ball hit it. I think a lot of my problem was due to the fact it was hanging from the ceiling and not attached at the sides.
The image quality between the Par2Pro screen and the archery screen is chalk and cheese. There are a few other U.K guys in here who also upgraded for the same reason.
Having said that, its durable and very cheap in comparison.

Another thing to add. If you can, move around. My mat is 10' wide and my room is 16' so I move my GC2 around yo hit the screen and Matt in different spots. It evens out the wear.

Or have a kid.

I now play with a net in front of my screen purely for sound dampening. When I have friends over and the kid isn't sleeping I lift the net out of the way and use the HD screen.

I find that Taylormade balls are much more durable than ProV1's. I will be buying Project A's from now on.

FYI, I think the rebate program ends for the Project A's in November (the scratcher on the inside cover for the free dozen).

Due to the size of my setup, I'm already hitting off centre. I can't really change where I hit unfortunately.

The reason I started this simulator project we because we were having a baby and I didn't think I'd get out on the course nearly as much.
I was right!!
My daughter is 19 months old today, and up until a couple of weeks ago I had only used my sim at the weekend. The last 2 weeks I've been hitting balls with my video baby monitor sitting in front of me - and she doesn't move or jump with the noise. Unless I'm hitting Almost Golf Balls, the noise of the club striking the ball is far louder than the ball hitting the screen.
Now I know that it doesn't wake her, I can get a lot more use out of it!

I'm pleased to say that my mattress topper is definitely working, as the ball is now only rebounding a foot - rather than the 6ft it was flying back before!!
