New build questions?

Hey guys,

Adding an addition to my garage 9'6 wide 10' ceiling 30' deep.

Can you guys recommend a quality impact screen and HD projector?

Also, what is the best way to mount the impact screen? Hang from ceiling?

I'm very pleased with the frame, netting and screen I purchased over 2 years ago from CustomDesignGolf. It has taken a ton of shots and is holding up extremely well. My setup sits on the floor with 2 side barriers.

For a projector I would say head to projectorcentral.com to begin your research. You want to make sure the screen will be filled as much as possible.

I'm using the GT1080 projector from Optoma which for my liking falls a bit short on the lumens side. I wish it was a tad brighter.

optoma is really good as well ben q, for brightness I have gone with the hd28se darbee so far love it . the frame is a typical frame and how you build is pretty simple and is available all over ebay for impact screens, there is a number of threads in this forum that will give you a lot of help I have went with the supertex by researching out price vs quality and this screen showed both.

BenQ 1080p amazing short throw projector. It doesn't have 3000 plus lumens but the picture quality etc.. is amazing. Plenty bright enough.

Ordered a BenQ 2150st. Don't have the setup complete, but seems more than bright enough just putting it on the basement wall.
