    Packing Blankets Behind Impact Screen

Appreciate all the info people have put up here. Lots to sift through.

Planning on a 10x10 screen from WCN (PR-20) or Carl's finished with grommets. Been thinking of protection/padding behind screen and saw someone with packing blankets attached to wall. Since I am building a free standing EMT cage 10x10x3 wanted to know if people have advice on hanging packing blankets (http://www.harborfreight.com/72-inch...ket-66537.html) on same pole as screen. Would it dim the screen with the dark blanket right behind it? Blankets are 80x72 and figured I would just hang in the center where balls would strike via grommets. Other better cheap options?

    Thanks!

I went with a memory foam mattress topper, fitted it into a duvet cover, and hung it from my frame with some zip ties.

    See post 16 here:
Back at the beginning of 2015, I had a go at turning my 2 car garage into a simulator room. One of the main issues I faced was that I had to have it collapsable...

Cool....does the topper slide down and bunch up inside the cover?

That was my question to Cory at Par2Pro when he suggested it. The answer is to punch the grommets through the duvet cover AND the mattress topper. It was hard work, but works great!

I put a net behind my matt, and then hung some heavy moving blankets a couple inches behind that, and they work great.
