About a year ago, I decided to tear down the detached garage to our really old house and build a new garage that was suited for today's larger vehicles. I figured I might as well add a room above the garage while I was at it. Problem was, the historic district zoning code limited such rooms to 300 square feet and basically no plumbing, so a small studio apartment was out.
Fortunately, my buddy Roper and I like to drink and play golf. There was a simulator bar in St. Louis that we had been to. An idea was born! I joined this site in January, 2016 and started researching. Initially, I leaned toward Protee. Eventually, the budget grew and I went with GC2 with TGC and Protee simulator software. (Partly because I wanted the folks that sponsor this site to make some money off of me!) I chose Par2Pro to install based on your recommendations.
The reaearching was the fun part for me. Thanks to Goatbarn, mthunt, aja, ks-man, FaultyClubs, davray, Bubba22, cspin, drewtaylor, sdrthedj, andygg1986 for help along the way. Bubba, MTHunt and Goatbarn all helped many times.
Below are some pics and plans along the way.
