    Skytrak sim first build

Well I've pretty much got my sim built now. I do still have some things i need to add or improve. Any advice or suggestions are welcome. The screen is 120"x108" and the projector is an optoma GT1080 and I am using a gaming laptop. My specs are an MSI with an i7-6700 processor and gtx1070 graphics card. TGC runs great on it. I have finally got my sky trak connected to my network via wifi and also am running my laptop via wifi. I may hard wire the laptop in the future. I will say I did set up a second router, not extender in order to run wifi. My sim is in a detached building. I have a few questions if anyone can answer for me. First, does lighting make a difference for skytrak? i mounted some track lights behind me and now i cast a shadow. I have been messing around with how i want to keep it. My next question is I had some issues where the sky trak didnt read. I hit like ten balls and it still wouldn't read. I ended up doing the rewind which of course took me to my previous shot. Is there anything I else i can do in that situation? What seems to be the best way to use skytrak? Via usb or network? Im also using 7/8" unistrut for my sliding bracket for my projector. works pretty well. I am going to lengthen it more for more movement. Please give me some opinions, good or bad.

Go with Wifi I believe most on here have had success with a 2.4ghz wifi connection over USB.

You're further along than I am, but I painted my ceiling (tandem portion of garage) flat black and ran a net from the screen to the hitting area using angle iron and bungees. Very happy with it. Can't stop playing tho to finish the darn thing out.
