Ok I got my skytrak, computer, projector and mat. Now I need to build my set up.

I'm building in the garage and have 1 Bay to work with. I'm gonna use curtains for the sides and ceiling but need some input on the actual impact screen.

I want to build the impact area as close to the back wall as I can so when not in use i could still park in there. Need to build something that is attached to the wall or maybe dropping from ceiling.

any advice???

I have mine attached to wall so i can still pull in cars. Although im valuing my sim more than the cars, so they pretty much stay outside. I bought the EMT connectors from tarps. com. I went with a very simple setup. Four floor attachments, two go on the floor and then two go on the wall. Then i bought two flat corner pieces which has a part going down, one back towards the wall and then one parallel to the wall. Basically floor attachment goes on ground, then emt up to the corner piece, then a small emt piece towards the wall into another floor attachment. Then emt across the top and do the same on the other side. It creates an upside down U shape. I'm about 1' from the wall. Guess picture would be easier. Here you go. This was before i put the impact screen up.

I use bunge cords on the sides to tighten the screen. I eventually am adding side netting

It works great. I hit real golf balls. My picture doesn't show it well but I have the screen tighter with bungees on the side and I usually put carpeting and or blankets below to absorb the ball after it falls off the impact screen

do you have those bungees tied into eyelets that are screwed into wall studs? How close is that screen to the wall? No need for a back net or padding to shield that door or drywall? which screen is that? thanks!
