Another Matt option thread

Sorry for yet another thread on this. I've looked and looked and still can't make up my mind.

I'm in the planning stage of my home simulator set up. I'm wanting a quality mat.

First and foremost I want to reduce risk of injury.
Secondly I'm trying to stretch my money.
Lastly I'd like it to be as realistic as possible.

I'm thinking these are my top 3 options but I'm open to suggestions.

In no specific order. I'd be building a stance platform for the first two.

1-Fiberbuilt 12"x24" panel.
2-A home made divot action with a cce hitting strip on top (no rubber).
3-a monster (or any medium quality) tee mat with a section removed and built in divot action

I just built my version of the divot action insert. I think the cce would be too thick. I used this one on top of the Home Depot lexan.

Basically $32 vs $130 so it was worth the experiment ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thank you. Has anyone ever tried the cce divot action? Is it too thick?

I was just thinking it might be the best of both worlds, between non-injury and quality feedback.

Have you tried Fiberbuilt? Really worth it for the feel, especially when using the mat as much as I do.
