  • Synlawn Tee Strike

    Hi everyone.

I was hoping to get some information regarding the synlawn tee strike turf.

My current set up is the DIY mat with the gel insert but the mat I purchased has already worn through and I am looking to replace it.

For those of you that do use the tee strike, do you have it attached to a base or subfloor? or do you have it placed directly on the ground

Are there any problems with fat shots causing any shoulder, wrist or elbow problems?

Do you think it would work well if I made a base and covered the gel insert with the tee strike?

Thanks for the help and I appreciate any thoughts

      Hi JC,

Just seeing this today, Love the Synlawn, it is nice and heavy and will just be on top of your subfloor, I have tile under so I put black mats from Lowes (Blue Hawk Black Rectangular Door Mat 36"x36" to be exact) that connect like a grid. I am trying to replace one mat with a gel insert to soften it up a bit currently and that's what I would recommend. It is a little tough vs other softer options that does tend to have some elbow feel after long games. I do think it would work well for you and it lasts forever, espectially if you use a gel under! I appreciate the help I think I will try and make a base, cut the gel into it and cover with the synlawn

        Thanks again for the feedback!
