Need help smoothing out turf

i layed my turf down on top of my aubflorr but cant get it smoothed out to lay completely flat.

any suggestions??

I might be able to help but would need to know what turf product you have and a little more detail on what the turf is doing (or a picture of it). In the areas where it isn't laying flat can you push it down with your hand? How big is your turfed area?

I forgot the name. It is 34 oz or so weight, 1/2 in pile height, nylon fibers, with white rubber backing, 12x15 ft

it has a couple creases in it and i just cant pull hard enough on the esges and corners due to it being next to the walls amd not getting enough leverage.

Sounds like the white backing you mention may be the issue. Is it the 5mm type of foam that comes on the back of some turf? Also, is it new from the factory? I have a couple slight creases/wrinkles in my new turf and it sounds like what you have. Mine are slight and believe that a few strips of double sided carpet tape in the area where they are at will hold them down. Not sure they could be pulled or stretched out of the turf if it were to be installed like carpet with kickers and tack strips around the perimeter.

I dont think is foam. It says it is rubber backing. It is new from the factory. I plan on using carpet tape. I will try to use extra there. Here is a pic

richdmb look at my build out this is a easy fix you want to use a pressure sensitive adhesive you roll it on with a paint roller. think of it as velcro and you can still remove turf

aeroburner i wish i would have seen this message before starting to put the turf down last night. i actually picked up a roller at menards and rolled out the carpet and have it pretty smooth, almost perfect, and taped it down to the subfloor. but, there are 2 little bumps in the turf that i can't see unless i get down and feel around with my hand. but, rolling a ball over it makes the ball bounce slightly.

is there any way to get these 2 little bumps down without having to pull the turf off the carpet tape? maybe a staple in each bump??
