  • Putting Station

Wasn't sure where to put this one.

I had some wood left over from my DIY hitting station and figured I'd put it to good use. For me starting putts online is probably more than half the battle, so with this setup, I can roll them from 3-7'. I have screws installed in the trim at 1' intervals. I also made a DIY hole reducer using a 4" to 3" PVC sewer reducer. The main hole is cut at 4" and the reducer brings it down to 3". I may switch out the carpet to some actual turf along the way, but it rolls pretty true and quick.

The hole reducer was based off of this. I think the pvc fitting was less than $5.

Nice setup. How elevated is the putting setup and where do the balls go?

i am a big fan of this type of putting practice and NEVER practicing putting on any sim.

It's 4" high. Upright 2 x 4's with a 1/2" plywood top. Underneath, i have a trough made out of 6" PVC that's cut in half and it shoots the balls out the back end. I'm going to cut an opening on the left side so it can shoot them out there as well. Makes a similar sound as dropping in the cup since it lands on PVC. Overall size is 1' W x 8' L.
