Diy Divot Action - What Hitting Strip to Use?

I'm wanting to build a diy divot action. What is everyone using or what do you recommend for the hitting strip? I've read a lot of good things about fiberbuilt but I can't find they make just a strip that is like 10"x30" or 12"x24". Anyone know if I they make something like this? I've also come across the gorilla mat from dwquail.com as well. Would this possibly work? I've included a couple of pictures of the gorilla mat below.

I was using a 10x30 CCE but found it too thick to try to convert to a divot action. I just cut off a 10x30 section at the end of my Pro Turf I bought as part of my Net Return package.
