My first post. I’m looking to purchase a SkyTrak with a home Net Return net. My only issue is which mat to purchase. Net Return mat, Cimarron, or something else? I will not be using a platform. It will be placed either on garage floor or existing synthetic grass outside. Any suggestions?

Congrats on the purchase. I use The Net Return along with their 6x10 Pro Turf in my garage. I quickly realized the Pro Turf does not have enough padding underneath to be hitting off a concrete slab (my poor joints still ache). My first solution was to get exercise matting to put underneath (thickness depending if you have ceiling height restrictions).
I then started reading about all of the other cool mat options such as Fiberbuilt, Divot Action etc etc. I originally bought a 10"x30" Country Club Elite insert and cut out that rectangle in my pro turf to drop it in. The CCE is also not that forgiving on your joints especially fat shots. Since then I've made my own 10x30 version of a DivotAction insert. It works well but it requires a bit of DIY which you may not like.
If I were to start over from scratch I'd still probably stick with the 6x10 Pro Turf as a runner but probably buy something to sit on top of this, such as a FiberBuilt mat.. that way you are standing and hitting off of the same surface. Anyway there are a lot of options found here on the forum. Good luck.
