  • SYNLawn Tee Strike

    Hey,

Does anyone have any experience with SYNLawn Tee Strike?

It’s says the thickness is one inch. Is it a firm one inch or does it give way easily under foot?

Will it work as a hitting mat alone? Or do I need to have padding underneath?

Any other experiences you care to share?

    Many thanks!

I have a 11 ft x12 ft roll in my sim that I roll up when its not in play. It is one inch thick and you can easily put a tee in in and it will stay in place easily. The material is quite firm and there is little give when hitting but I suggest to use spikeless golf shoes. I use it as hitting, chipping and putting. I have nothing undereath it. I have had it for 3 years and you can barely see the area where I have been hitting from. It holds up very well. My only complaint is that it is not forgiving when hitting irons if you hit down and through the ball. It does not react like real grass. If you catch the mat at all before the ball it effects the outcome of the shot by a lot. My daughter and wife have found it so hard on there wrist that they want a different mat for hitting irons. It will grab the club. If your a picker, then its perfect. Feel free if you have any other questions. Cheers
