legendsfan Did you nail/glue/staple the turf to the osb? If not, does it float at all or bunch/shift when you swing? Turf rep I talked to said it won't work to just lay it down
What's under your turf?

The turf is glued down to the OSB on the perimeter and then it's also glued over the hitting surface. It's a 2' x 3' cutout over hitting surface so I can easily replace that section when the time comes. It's never moved on me once.

legendsfan I like the perimeter glueing idea. I'm going to steal that! I was previously thinking of doing just the stance area. The plan once I get my turf is to make a divot action or gel insert under the turf, then cut it out once it wearsLast edited by gnomike; 11-28-2018, 11:59 PM.

I was just about to pull the trigger on some NP50 from STI when I found a product from Bella Turf. I have samples of both and they seem extremely similar. The only difference I can tell is that the NP50 has a better backing... but it also costs almost double. Has anyone had experience with the Bella product?

For subfloor and the BEST putting surface their is really only one choice Tour Links panels https://tourlinks.net/- Ultras Base System for all panels -https://ultrabasesystems.com/ . I have had the Tour Links panels on an outdoors in ground green for 22 years now Turf needs replaced still putts perfect when watered down but the panels are still perfect. They are portable if you move and cost about 30% more the the Dri Core mentioned above. Another link mention above has the Tour Links but on top of carpet?? Why would be my question. You can get Ultra Base system panels at 3/4 inch (Champion) or up to 1.25 inch (Professional) to accommodate cups - taller cost more $3 sf vs $5 & Tour Links Panels are about $5.40 sf - (2 inches - allows for full cup). I would for sure recommend this system over foam panels and all the other stuff mentioned on this forum. Almost all the top sim companies use this system, you get what you pay for. I'm installing in my Garage build that will be completed by Feb. https://golfsimulatorforum.com/forum...69-garage-golf

I’m confused why you would buy those panels for 30% more than Dricore? Any benefits of it over Dricore?
