How to build in a Truestrike insert?

I currently have the following setup in my sim room. Putting green on top of 1" rubber with divot action mat built up to be flush. I'm looking for something more solid. The DA mat performed nice, but after more research, I want to switch to Trustrike. I'm ready to pull the trigger on any possible truestrike set up. The gel insert appears to only be 20" long, while my Divot Action is 24" long, leaving a void. Any ideas?

I'm not looking to do any of this myself, I have a local custom green guy that will be doing the work. Attached is the photo of my room....

Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

I just realized the truestrike gel insert is 52" long, which I like, but it's 2.25" in height, which would be too high as my set up with the putting green comes up about 1.5".
