    Truestrike Portable

Does anyone know if the Truestrike portable mat is just the same as the gel section piece but with the edge trim sections added on? The dimensions I saw on the portable don't seem to add up.

That's what it looks like. I wouldn't call it portable though, it's pretty heavy and bulky.

That's what I figured but the dimensions on the Truestrike site look wrong to me for the section piece.

      Section 51.1811 × 19.685 × 1.7717 cm

      Portable mat 50 × 130 × 6 cm

I just want the Gel section bit, I am going to try and cut out a section of my existing mat and sink it in, figured for a few extra quid I am getting two edge trims for the price of one if that's all the portable is. May come in useful if I ever decide to swap it out.

The portable mat I've got lying around is a prior generation model I think. You can see the dimensions in the pics. Click image for larger version

Thanks for that Grant. Main reason for trying to incorporate the Truestrike into my existing setup is because my body is starting to give up on me, I have read on this forum that it’s not as stressful on the body as other mats. You had any issues using the truestrike regarding injuries?

This prior gen mat just has a vinyl top over the gel section with a grass pattern printed on and the ball had a difficult time sitting without rolling around. I may have used it for one session since I got it. My current mat is Fiberbuilt which I have no complaints about.

Yes it’s just the gel section with 2 trim pieces. I have the whole mat...but I have had 6 shoulder operations with the last one being from a CCE mat I believe. In haven’t had any issues for the last year +
