Hey everyone,

I’m getting pretty close to having accumulated all the items for my phase 1 sim build. Last two pieces are netting and a mat.

I think I’ve settled on the 4x5 fibrebuilt system, but I’m looking for opinions on if this is still a good option?

also, I’m having a seemingly impossible time finding Canadian retailers that sell it. Any Canadians have a source?

as far as netting, I’m between archery netting and standard black web golf netting. It seems the archery net is roughly 2x the cost, is there any pros cons to going that route?

I have a 1' X 3" Fiber-Built mat set into my floor with the top even with the surrounding area, I love it never used the 4X5 setup so not able to comment on it directly. I do have the black golf netting setup and I haven't had any problems with it and it sure seems to do the job.

Great setup BGCurtis, I think I will be doing a similar setup. Is that a garage/shed? What are the dimensions inside? I may be facing the same, or similar setup.

Brettster Thank you. It is in my woodworking shop, the room is 15' W X 20' L but I wish it was larger, it gets a little cramped when you have 4 people playing. If I were going to build it again from what I know now I would have made it 20' W X 30' L give some room to put in better seating and allow for more people without cramping.

Just call fiberbuilt they have store fronts in Canada. I’m in Calgary and bought local.
