GrassTex True Turf - How to speed it up??

I recently installed GrassTex True Turf as both my hitting area and putting green in my simulator room. The product seems quite durable and realistic, but I am disappointed in the speed of the surface. Does anyone else have True Turf, and what were your thoughts on the speed? Is there anyway to speed it up? Attached is a pic as I was laying it out. I cut 4 holes into my floor and also cut a 16" x 18" area to put a gel pad for my hitting area.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

rolling and adding infill are two methods i know of. I'd call Grass Tex before i did either of those, not that it would stop me from doing either one if i thought it needed it.

Infill by Grass-Tex will work well but it will add significant weight. Full disclosure- I am a Grass-Tex dealer
