  • firebuilt strips between two mats

Due to space constraints I’m looking for a creative solution.

Would a 1x 4 Firebuilt hitting strip stay in place between two CCE mats used as stance area? I need to be able to slide one of the stance mats out of the way when not in use. I would buy a full Firebuilt mat but from what I read it is too cumbersome to move on a regular basis.

Any thoughts appreciated, Nothing set in stone, seeking all solutions. Screen is 13 ft wide but can only have 10 feet of that fixed; the last 3 feet (near the hitting area) needs to be movable when not in use. I’m assuming it is best to keep hitting area centered to screen.

Been trying to sort through this myself.
I have a new Truestrike portable I picked up and looking at stance mat options that I can move out of way as this will be in garage.
The True Strike portable is movable. Heavy and stable on its own at 32 lbs. It is 2 inches high. I have been looking at a Perfect Reaction gorilla mat to pair up with it, but considering all options. A 4' by 5' will meet my needs easily.

I’ll check this out. I want to avoid the black so it integrates nicer with the stance mats. I have a couple ideas/thoughts of marrying the firebuilt hitting strip into or between the stance mats. Guess most prudent to wait until my reno is done and install that stuff last,

On a separate note, I live in Colorado near where Synlawn is made/distributed. Every now and again they sell off their scraps from large scale projects. Picked up lots of their high end putting green material at $1 sqft. Sweet deal.
